Carluke Rovers boss eyes higher league finish
CARLUKE Rovers manager Colin Slater is eyeing an even higher league finish for the club next season.
The John Cumming Stadium team missed going up from Central Division 1 by just two points in this campaign, when they finished fifth.
Colin told the official Rovers website: “It was a very difficult and challenging season with various personal and team issues. I feel we all showed our togetherness and commitment to each other and the strong bond within the Rovers.
“We made progress, finishing two places higher than last season in a very competitive league and we will look to further progress in season 2014/15.”
