Carluke’s Milton Rovers receive £5000 of support
Milton Rovers YFC is set to kick off the new season with top of the table facilities thanks to a £5,000 grant from UK Steel Enterprise, South Lanarkshire LEADER Programme’s Developing Local Communities Fund and the Renewable Energy Fund.
A new synthetic surface has been laid and eco-friendly floodlights installed.
Rovers’ volunteer co-ordinator Ian McKnight said: “We are welcoming an increasing number of young players to our club and we will now be able to cater for them with our upgraded facilities.”
