Clydesdale Sports Council annual School of Sport 2010

EX-Rangers and Hearts player Jim Denny passed on his expertise during football coaching at Clydesdale Sports Council's 27th Annual School of Sport in Largs.

Jim, assisted by Alan Forrest and Derek McAllister from Kirkfield United and Robert Gibson and Ricky Thomson from Milton Rovers, taught 26 youngsters from these two local clubs.

The kids and four coaches received access to a floodlit all-weather pitch, grass park and two all-weather floodlit five-a-side pitches.

This was just part of a packed programme at the Sportscotland National Sports Training Centre, featuring six sports tried by over 90 youngsters from Biggar, Carluke, Carstairs, Forth, Law, Lanark, Lesmahagow and Carnwath.
