Coalburn bowler Greg McLaughlin (16) picked for Scotland under-25 squad
COALBURN bowler Greg McLaughlin (16), has made history by becoming the youngest player ever to be chosen for the Scotland under-25 squad.
Fifth year Lesmahagow High pupil Greg, of Shoulderigg Place, impressed selectors during another fine season which included winning the British Under-18 Singles Championship and finishing runner-up at the Scottish Masters.
His proud dad Willie said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Greg has been selected for the Scotland under-25s at such a young age.”
