Coalburn bowlers in the pink for Breast Cancer Campaign

COALBURN Bowling Club members were ‘in the pink’ at a hugely successful charity competition.

Seventy-five people took part in an event featuring the unusual sight of women (and men) playing bowls while sporting a variety of pink outfits or dyed hair.

In total, the day raised an impressive £1644.50 for Breast Cancer Campaign. The tournament was won by the team of Hugh Lennox, Billy Stewart and David Stewart.
