Colin McRae Forest Stages on the move

FOLLOWING the enthusiastic reception by Perthshire’s second city of Aberfeldy, the organisers of this year’s Colin McRae Forest Stages rally will move both the start and finish ceremonies to the central Perthshire town.

The rally, which is due to be held on October 1, ended in tragedy last year when competitor Jimmy Girvan died following a crash.

The event was due to start in Aberfeldy and finish in Perth but, following the tragedy, it was abandoned on the second stage.
