Dean and John win four ball contest

THE Opening Day Four Ball at Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club, sponsored by Alastair McDonald, was won by Dean Clelland and John Love.

This was quite a unique partnership as they were first and second in last week’s Winter League final.

Their pairing was enough to snatch the trophy by one shot from David Napier and Chris Turley.

Having won the first two competitions of the season, Dean will be looking for a hat trick with the first monthly medal this Saturday, April 7.

It was a successfull start to the season on and off the course with new catering in place and a good response to the Open Day on Sunday, April 1.

The club would like to thank the local businesses of Paul the Butcher, Rennie Bakers and George Miller’s Fruiterers for providing supplies over the weekend.
