Disappointment double for Duffy

JIM Duffy’s disappointment at his team’s exit from the Scottish Cup in Angus at the weekend has been compounded further with the postponement of this Saturday’s game.

The Bully Wee were scheduled to play Alloa, but The Wasps have a cup replay with Annan Athletic following their draw on Saturday.

“I was really disappointed with the weekend,” said a dejected Duffy.

“You want to stay in these competitions, the cups.

“They’re organised so you can get a bit of a profile on the go, so everyone feels it’s an opportunity missed.

“It’s a long time before these competitions come around again and I don’t think we deserved to lose. We created a lot of chances.”
