Carluke Baptist AFC win Atholl Cup 2014 Slideshow

CARLUKE Baptist AFC picked up their third trophy of the season in spectacular style with a comprehensive victory against Kirkintilloch Riverside.

The 7-0 scoreline showed just how dominant the Baps were on Saturday as they claimed the Atholl Cup at the John Cumming Stadium.

Baps goals came from Scott Murphy (4), Craig Stewart, George McCall and Alan Morton.

The Baps went into the Cup Final after clinching their league’s Premier Division title earlier in the week with a 5-0 win over St Andrews in Glasgow.

They beat their Atholl Cup opponents Kirkintilloch for the title, underlining their superiority in that division.

Baps will try to win their fourth trophy tomorrow (Saturday) when they face Vale of Leithen in the South of Scotland Cup Final at Victoria Park, Inverleithen. Kick-off 2.30pm.
