Kieran Tierney is currently at Arsenal but his future is unclear. He has admitted that his future likely doesn’t lie with the club who bought him from Parkhead in 2019 from £25m, after a loan spell at Real Sociedad last season.

Injury at Euro 2024 with Scotland has also brought further uncertainty. It’s now been claimed by Fotomac that Turkish giants Galatasaray are “considering renting the 27-year-old star, who the North London team does not consider in the squad.” It’s stated club technical director Okan Buruk has already “approved” the move.

As per the Daily Record, “Arsenal are understood to be listening to offers for a player who still has two years remaining on his £1110,000-per-week contract at the Emirates.” During his time at Celtic, Tierney won eight trophies in a trophy-laden stay.

He told The Athletic in May when asked if he’d played his last game for Arsenal: “There is every chance. Look at the squad depth in that position now. They have Zinchenko, Timber, Tomiyasu, Kiwior. Four players can play there.

“So if I go back and it’s the same as before then I’m not silly, I know the chances are I’ll be leaving. But you never know in football. You get the rare case with [William] Saliba, where he came back after a couple of good seasons [out on loan] but you don’t see it too often with someone who has played for four years, left, and then come back to play again.”
