2x Champions League winner keen to spark Celtic transfer nightmare amid 'very serious mistake' over Hoops ace

A 2x Champions League winner is one the leading men who could trigger a transfer nightmare for Celtic this winter.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have been rampant domestically and have won all but one of their games, a 2-2 Premiership draw with Aberdeen. They are in the Premier Sports Cup final and have impressed in the Champions League. With that, however, comes interest and Alex Valle has shone.

He joined on a season-long loan deal from Barcelona in the summer and has made eight appearances with three assists. Alejandro Balde’s deputy at left-back at the Camp Nou was elected as Gerard Martín but performances have not hit the appropriate heights.

Now El Nacional report that Barca could can the deal in January and take Valle off Celtic hands. It would be a nightmare situation for Celtic, who have Greg Taylor as their only other senior left-back option, and he is free to speak with other clubs in the New Year with his current deal expiring next summer.
