Football Manager 2024 has been released live on Steam through early access and fans of the popular game are already sinking their teeth into the latest edition.
The series is now over 30-years old and an impressive worldwide database of clubs, players and staff gives gamers the opportunity to take charge of their beloved clubs and attempt to guide them to unprecedented successes. Just for fun, we simulated three years into the future with the new game to see how clubs across the Scottish Premiership and the rest of the world had fared.
Here is how the Celtic starting XI looked in our simulation at the close of the 2026 summer transfer window:
1. GK - Neto

2. RB - Kevin Alvarez
The Mexican international was a £14m capture in 2025 and has established himself as the club’s first choice right back with Alistair Johnson moving to Man Utd for £19m | Getty Images
3. LB - Greg Taylor
With an average rating of 7.10 over three seasons he continues as Celtic’s first choice left back going into his eighth season with the club | Getty Images
4. CB - Dan Burn
Surprisingly, Newcastle let the Geordie fan favourite leave in January 2024 and Celtic pay £16m to sign him before he establishes himself as a key part of the Parkhead defence | Getty Images
