Celtic produced a superb Champions League comeback on Tuesday night as they came from behind to secure a 3-1 win over RB Leipzig on home soil. The Hoops now have seven points in Europe and are up to 13th in the table.
Rangers will take on Olympiacos at the Karaiskakis Stadium this evening in search of another three points for their tally. Philippe Clement’s side have banked six points so far and have the chance to make significant tracks up the Europa League table if others ahead of them drop points.

Hide AdLet’s take a look at the latest headlines for the two clubs ahead of Rangers’ European clash.
Club ‘working to cancel Celtic transfer agreement’
Celtic had a fairly busy summer on the transfer front, bringing in several new full-time signings and offloading multiple senior stars to balance the books, including Matt O’Riley. The Hoops sent some players out on loan and also brought in Álex Valle from Barcelona until the end of the season. Greg Taylor is the only senior option in the left-back position contracted to the club, however.
For how much longer that remains the case though is unknown. The Daily Mail claim that with his contract expiring at the end of the season, talks ‘have reached a state of stalemate’ and while the discussions remain ongoing, there’s been a ‘bump in the road’ He is free to talk with other clubs in January as things stand.
Rangers ‘red flags’ raised ahead of Olympiacos
Rangers will return to the Europa League this evening with a big three points set in their sights. Clement’s side will enter the clash in Greece following their close win over Motherwell in the Premier Sports Cup at the weekend.

Hide AdThe Gers managed to book their place in the final against Celtic but Mark Guidi has weighed in on some personnel changes he thinks Clement should make moving forward. On the latest Go Radio Football Show, Guidi suggested that Neraysho Kasanwirjo should be started ahead of Jefte, following a questionable performance last time out.
“If you’re picking your best XI right now for whatever game, I would start to look at going with [Dujon] Sterling as my right-back and Kasanwirjo as my left-back”, Guidi said.
“I really like the look of Kasanwirjo, I know he is also more obviously more right-sided, but he can fill in. Jefte, that was just real red flags how he defended [against Motherwell], I know he is still young and Yilmaz, I don’t know when he’s back. But I would go with Kasanwirjo, just put a marker down.”
