Celtic starting XI vs Motherwell: 4 changes as McGregor ruled out but defensive duo return from injury
Celtic’s confirmed starting XI for Scottish Premiership clash vs Motherwell at Fir Park
Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic starting XI and substitutes to face Motherwell in their latest Scottish Premiership outing at Fir Park this afternoon.

The Hoops were made to work extremely hard for their hard-fought Champions League stalemate with Atalanta in Italy in midweek and will now aim to collect maximum points on their visit to North Lanarkshire against a Motherwell side who sit in fifth place in the table.
The Steelmen are looking to respond from last week’s narrow 1-0 loss at home to Dundee with a positive result against the reigning champions, who dropped their first league points of the campaign against current league leaders Aberdeen at the summit.

“You train less and you have less days to recover, but for us it can also be good to show what we can do and get the points. We have to deliver in this busy period and that’s what we have to do. It’s always nice to play games, we just focus on each game that comes.
“Sunday will be a different type of game to Thursday. It was a good point but now our focus is on Motherwell. Like a lot of the games in the league, we have to create a lot of chances. We’ll have the ball and we need to take our chances and be better than we were against Atalanta.”
