Celtic are now three points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table following their convincing 4-1 win over Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday night.
Kyogo Furuhashi and Nicolas Kuhn sent Brendan Rodgers’ side on their way before a late Adam Idah double secured the victory and the three points for the Hoops. With Aberdeen finally losing their first match of the season, away to St Mirren, it means the reigning champions have opened up a gap on the Dons who remain second space.

United’s performance earned three of their players a spot in the WhoScored Scottish Premiership Team of the Weekend but, despite their convincing win in Edinburgh, only one Celtic star made the cut.
Goalscorers Furuhashi, Kuhn and Idah were all left out in favour of stars from Jim Goodwin’s Terrors and from St Mirren. One Rangers star also made the cut along with two Dundee men and on from St Johnstone.
In goals is United stopper Jack Walton with a rating of 7.8 while the back four is made up of his teammate Ryan Strain (7.3), St Mirren’s Richard Taylor (7.7), St Johnstone’s Andre Raymond (7.5) and the lone Celtic inclusion is Cameron Carter Vickers with a score of 7.5.
Rangers’ Vaclav Cerny makes it into the XI with a score of 8.7, which is the highest of anyone in the team and makes him the league’s star player from the weekend by the football statistics site’s metrics. The rest of the midfield features Dundee duo Lyall Cameron and Jordan McGhee with scores of 8.0 and 7.9 respectively as well as St Mirren’s Greg Kiltie who scored 7.4
Up top are Dundee United’s Sam Dalby (7.8) and St Mirren’s Toyosi Olusanya (7.6).
