Motherwell goalkeeper Peter Morrison, also 19, has been signed, again on a development loan.

And the Bully Wee boss landed the third of his deadline day targets by signing defender Andy Munro on loan from Forfar Athletic.

Chapman said: "I'm delighted to get Peter in. He's got excellent potential and will provide real competition to Blair Currie.

"Peter is highly thought of at Motherwell and I'd like to thank them for allowing him to join us on loan.

"Mark is a young, offensive player and Alan Archibald is keen for him to step up his development now, with something more than just under-20 football. We can give him that at Clyde.

"He's got good pace, quick feet and will be entertaining to watch.

"We know Andy from playing at this level over the last couple of years and he's always done very well. He was a strong opponent against us at Annan, so we've kept an eye on him.

"We're grateful to Gary Bollan and Forfar for allowing the loan to happen and I think he'll make a fantastic contribution at Clyde."

Heading in the other direction are under-20s midfielders Ronan Sweeney and Robbie Davidson who have joined junior side Thorniewood United on development loans.
