Clyde face Kilmarnock at Broadwood in Betfred opener

Clyde will open the new season with a Betfred Cup tie at home to Premiership side Kilmarnock.

The detailed fixtures for the group stage of the new-look League Cup have been announced by the SPFL following last week’s draw.

Barry Ferguson’s side are up first against Killie - who only survived relegation by beating Championship runners-up Falkirk in a play-off.

They thgen travel to Greenock to face Morton on Tuesday, July 19.

Clyde’s second home match is against Berwick Rangers on Saturday, July 23, and the Bully Wee’s final match is at Albion Rovers on Tuesday, July 26, before the sit out the action on the final match day of the five-team groups.
