Clyde go through in Scottish

The Bully Wee marched through to the third round of the William Hill Scottish Cup on Saturday.

From early in the tie, Clyde took control of the play and went on to create numerous opportunities throughout the first half.

Euan Smith had a penalty claim turned down, a Scott Durie long-range shot flew just wide of the post and Kevin Watt just failed to make contact with an Aidan McIlduff’s cross.

However, a goal form Smith just before the interval, a fine finish by Scott McManus and a brilliant third goal by Scott Ferguson, who found the after a good move involving himself, Andy Gibson and McManus, saw the Broadwood side through to the next round where they will play either Spartans or East Kilbride.

The tie will take place at Ainslie Park or The K Park on Saturday, November 1.
