Clydesdale clubs enjoyed Move Week 2013

A NUMBER of Clydesdale clubs took part in a ground breaking European initiative dedicated to celebrating sport and physical activity.

Signed up...dozens of local youngsters took part in Clydesdale Sports Council's European Move Week

Clydesdale Sports Council signed up to participate in the International Sports & Cultural Association’s European Move Week with a variety of sports, from badminton to kickboxing, all involved.

The project got a real kick when local kickboxers, who train at Lanark’s YMCA, gave it their backing.

Other events in Clydesdale included a group of active senior golfers, at Lanark Golf Club, who held a Move Week Stableford Competition.
