Crunch clash for Kilsyth Rangers

THE postponement of two crucial games in the past week which could have had an impact on Kilsyth Rangers’ promotion hopes has added an extra zest to Friday’s away fixture against Ardrossan Winton Rovers.

Thursday’s call-off at Shotts due to surface water on the pitch left Rangers on third spot one point behind Renfrew and in line for a play-off place against Pollok slot with two games to play.

But the tension and nail-biting in the Kilsyth camp was hardly eased on Saturday when Renfrew’s final game against relegation-threatened East Kilbride Thistle was called off.
