UNITED should have had this all wrapped up in the first ten minutes of the match. Three glorious chances were spurned during this period which would have put the Cumbernauld team in easy street for the remainder of the contest.
Instead, United, almost completely in control throughout, had to work hard for the victory and precious league points. As a result of this win the locals have climbed to a very respectable third place in the league table.
