Forth did well for long spells against the league leaders but lost to a second half Jarvie goal which McKenzie reckons was blatantly offside. He said: “The guy was five yards offside. With no linesmen it’s difficult for the referee but it seems we are on the wrong end of decisions like this every week. I don’t know if they are honest mistakes but we will get on with it.”Jamie also felt Forth should have had a late penalty for a Greer foul on Keigan Parker, with the referee instead awarding a free-kick on the edge of the box.Forth have now lost all four league matches since their 5-1 walloping of Greenock on the opening day.Jamie and his troops are extra determined to beat Port Glasgow on Saturday as a tribute to stricken committee man Douglas McKendrick who has come out of a coma after suffering a major heart attack and remains in Wishaw General Hospital. Dougie’s family thank everyone for their continued support.
