Home sweet home for Colts in pre-season schedule

Cumbernauld Colts have lined up three pre-season friendlies against senior and development sides at Broadwood.

Colts are preparing for their second season in the Lowland League after finishing fourth in their debut campaign last time out.

They will open against Championship side Morton’s Development League team on Thursday, June 30, kick-off 7.45pm.

The Cumbernauld side will then face Championship outfit Dumbarton on Monday, July 4. And that will be followed by a game with League 2 outfit Stirling Albion on Monday, July 11, both fixtures kicking off at 8.00pm.

The Stirling Albion game will be a repeat of the Scottish Cup third round tie between the sides at Forthbank last season which Albion won 6-0.

Colts have also arranged a friendly match away to East Region side Sauchie Juniors on Saturday, July 30, kick-off 2pm.
