With potential replacements for Michael O’Neill being interviewed by the Northern Irish FA tomorrow (Wednesday) Sky Bet has Robbo behind only favourite Tommy Wright (8/11) and former ’Well gaffer Ian Baraclough (2/1).

Motherwell boss Robbo - a popular figure with fans after leading the club to third place in last season's coronavirus-afflicted season - also has reaching both national cup finals with the Steelmen in the 2017-2018 campaign on his CV.

If he stays at Motherwell, he will lead the club into a Europa League first qualifying round tie on Thursday, August 27.
