In their manager’s own words, the Bully Wee put on a “shocking” opening half in Saturday’s match at Cliftonhill.

The final score was already on the board after 37 minutes when Albion’s Gary Phillips grabbed his second goal of the match, with his first in eight minutes and a Pat Walker goal soon afterwards.

Jim described his own players’ performances as “insipid” and “disjointed”. “We were chasing the game and got picked off,” he said. “We had lapses in concentration and got punished for them, made it too easy for Albion. They are a good side and we were poor. I’m bitterly disappointed.”
