The draw, made on Tuesday lunchtime, threw up a mouth watering clash between last season’s East Superleague champions and the current West Super League table toppers.

Bonnyrigg reached the fourth round of this season’s senior Scottish Cup, knocking out Championship side Dumbarton along the way, while Rob Roy already have one trophy - the Sectional League Cup - under their belts this season.

Bonnyrigg have won the trophy twice, in 1966 and 1978, while Rob Roy have won it three times, but not since 1962.

Linlithgow Rose, who have still to play Maryhill in the one outstanding fifth round tie, will have a home match with outsiders Gartcairn should they get through and will fancy their chances of reaching the last four as they seek a fifth cup triumph.

Record winners Auchinleck Talbot have a home Ayrshire derby against Kilwinning Rangers while the remaining tie sees Glenafton take on Sauchie.

Draw in full -

Auchinleck Talbot v Kilwinning Rangers

Glenafton v Sauchie

Maryhill or Linlithgow Rose v Gartcairn

Matches will be played on Saturday, March 18.
