The draw, made on Thursday afternoon, handed the Kirkintilloch side an away tie against either Yoker Athletic, Wishaw or Forth Wanderers.

Wishaw and Forth still have a fourth round tie to settle, with the winners away to Yoker in the fifth round.

Rob Roy are hoping to go at least one better than last year when they went out at the quarter-final stage to Bonnyrigg Rose.

So far this season they have put out holders Glenafton and reached the last eight with an epic fifth round win over Linlithgow Rose last Saturday.

However Rabs manager Stewart Maxwell will take nothing for granted, particularly if Rob Roy end up playing Wishaw who knocked Rob Roy out with a shock 3-0 win at Guy's Meadow two seasons ago.

The quarter-finals will be played on Saturday, March 17.

However Rabs manager Stewart Maxwell's immediate task is to prepare for Saturday's Super League encounter with Cumnock at Guy's Meadow.

Rob Roy, who won 1-0 at Cumnock earlier in the season, currently sit sixth in the table with Cumnock two places below them.

But Maxwell isn't reading too much into the sides' respective league standings.

He said: ""Cumnock are a good side, a better team than their league position suggests.

"Their manager [Peter Leonard] has come in and is slowly turning it around. They beat Glenafton a few weeks ago.

"They didn't turn up against Talbot in the cup and they'll be disappointed with that, but this will be another tough game for us.

"Cumnock are a top side, they're a good club who do things the right way and a manager who, given time, will do well there."
