Junior games hit by weather

KILSYTH Rangers’ game against Kello Rovers was called off due to a frozen pitch along with almost all other junior games.

Weather permitting they will visit Yoker Athletic this Saturday for a league match.

The draw for the fourth round of the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup has given Rangers another trip to Perthshire. They are due to play Kinnoull Juniors on Saturday, January 19. This will be no easy passage to round five, Kinoull are unbeaten in their league this season with seven wins from seven games and have lost only two goals in them.

Last season they only went out to eventual winners, Shotts, after a replay although they finished that game with only eight players still on the park!

CUMBERNAULD United are still trying to play their Scottish Cup third-round replay against Forfar West End.

The game has been rescheduled for this Saturday, again weather permitting.

The Cumbernauld United Original Supporters’ Club bus will leave the town centre north bus stop at 10.50 a.m. and Cumbernauld Village at 11 a.m.

There may be seats available on the bus. If you are interested contact George McAllister on 01236 616151.
