Craighead Park is the venue for tonight's last four crunch, with 'Gow's optimism boosted by the fact that Petershill have lost all four of their league games so far this season and are bottom of the table.

Lesmahagow manager Robert Irving told the Carluke and Lanark Gazette: "Petershill will still be a tough nut to crack because they are three leagues above us.

"But we are at home which gives us a chance so hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves and grind out a result.

"It is a big game, our first semi-final since we lost 3-2 at Pollok in the semi-finals of this competition five years ago.

"Getting to a major cup final would be a great achievement for us.

"I always feel that if we are in any competition then we are in it to win it.

"We have beaten Shotts and East Kilbride from higher divisions already in this competition, but we will have to play at our best if we are to get anything against Petershill."

'Gow have fitness doubts over Alan Colquhoun and John McStay who both picked up knocks in Saturday's 2-2 home league draw against Johnstone Burgh.
