QUEEN’S Park have yet to gain a point after five games in Scottish division two.

And yet, but for a couple of lapses of concentration in both the first and second halves, it could have been Spiders first victory of the season.

Quinn let a pass go through to Keenan who slyly pushed the pass back to his skipper who let loose before the Blue Toon’s keeper to put Queen’s ahead.

In return, Peterhead piled on the pressure which increased as the half progressed.

However, Queen’s seemed to soak it up pretty well and were comfortable with dealing with any threat.

This all changed, though, a couple of minutes before the break.

Peterhead were awarded a free kick and McAllister met the ball with his head to put it beyond keeper Lochhead.

Shortly after the break, Peterhead effectively put the game beyond QP when they scored a second.

Lamie tried to clear the ball out of QP’s box, but only managed to give it to McAllister who fed it to McLaren to score.
