It’s an excting time for the club but boss Stewart Maxwell is keeping his feet firmly on the ground and taking one game at a time.
However he admitted that rather than his players resting on their laurels with one trophy already secured, that success has only made them hungry for more.

“Every challenge they’ve risen to the occasion up until now but they’ve just got to keep it going, keep focussed and keep everything together.
“But the players have been absolutely immense and I can’t speak highly enough of them.

“I think that because we’ve already won something we’ve tasted that winning feeling. You can have a successful season and be pipped in the semis or get beaten in the final. But we’ve tasted silverware and I think that’s given the players the hunger to go and taste more.
“Obviously it’s good that we’ve won the League Cup but there are bigger prizes there.”

He said: “It will not be easy. They’re sitting at the top of their league and they’ve scored goals and play good football in that league.
“Again Rob Roy just now are a scalp so they’ll come up and it’ll be like a cup final for them.”
