Hide AdTo get back in this title fight proper, they need to spark some magic, and January could be a time to change some things about. That might include exits, but who could make way?
We take a look at five possible candidates.
Ianis Hagi
His contract situation has been resolved to free him up for action but minutes have not been flowing since. Spent last season at Alaves and still doesn’t seem to have a cemented first team place.
Cyriel Dessers
Surely not? Well, there was reported interest in the summer. Divides opinion but has continued to cash in the only currency that matters in football for a striker, goals. Teams will take note of that.
Danilo
Another of Michael Beale’s striker recruits, still on the way back to full match sharpness after serious injury. But with Rangers in the business of here and now, if a bid came in, could they look to recoup some cash?

The winger has had a hit and miss time at Rangers. Some points, he’s looked a valuable asset, at other times his form has dipped. Reportedly had summer interest and another who has a valuation that could be used to fund other deals.
James Tavernier
One that will rumble during January. Has been dropped in a couple of games and performances have been lamented. Relationship with fans is diminishing and to protect the undoubted legacy he has at Ibrox, an exit could be in order.
