Belgian FA make decision on Rangers boss Philippe Clement after Ibrox gaffer linked with international switch
Rangers manager Philippe Clement was recently linked with a surprising new job with reports earlier this week suggesting he could be the next manager of the Belgium men’s national team.
However, a new report from Ibrox News has suggested that his chances of leaving Rangers to manage the country he won 38 caps with as a player are very much in the hands of the club. They claim that sources have told them the Belgian FA will not chase Clement if he is not sacked by the club first.

The 50-year old signed a new contract with Rangers earlier this year. Not only that but new Technical Director Nils Koppen has recently spoken of his excitement at working with Clement.
Rangers return to Scottish Premiership action following the international break on Saturday when Dundee United visit Ibrox. The Glasgow side remain nine points off the pace at the top of the league table with Old Firm rivals Celtic and surprise package Aberdeen currently join top of the division.

However, they will find no easy task themselves against a Dundee United side who have performed admirably under Jim Goodwin this season.
United are only three points behind Rangers in the table, currently sitting fourth, and a win by two goals or more at Ibrox would be enough to seem them move ahead in the standings. When the two sides met at Tannadice in September it ended in a 1-0 win for Rangers thanks to Tom Lawrence’s early goal which was one of just three defeats that the Tangerines have had in the league so far.
