How to watch Dundee vs Rangers: TV channel, live stream, team news, referee and VAR for Premiership clash

How to watch Rangers’ weekend trip to the City of Discovery

Rangers take on Dundee this weekend in the Scottish Premiership as they seek to extend their unbeaten run and put pressure on rivals Celtic.

Saturday’s 3-1 victory at home to Kilmarnock marked the Light Blues’ seventh victory in a row. They currently sit second place in the standing - but only two points behind leaders Celtic. This means a result in the City of Discovery would see them reclaim top spot before the Hoops host Hearts the following day.

However, to do that, they’ll have to overcome Steven Pressley’s in-form Dark Blues, who’ve won their last two on the bounce to make their way up to fourth. In an encounter which has been selected for television broadcast, here’s everything you need to know about how to watch Dundee vs Rangers, as well as some other useful match information:

Where and when will Dundee vs Rangers take place?

What is the Rangers team news ahead of Dundee?

Rangers right back Dujon Sterling is a doubt after he was taken off in their 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock last weekend with tonsillitis. Left back Tuur Rommens was an unused substitute against Killie and as now regained following a groin strain in October - but with in-form James Penrice in his position, the Belgian is unlikely to start. Other than Sterling, there are no fresh injury concerns, with attackers Youssef Chermiti, Lawrence Shankland and Daisuke Yokota, as well as midfielder Cammy Devlin, still out.

What have Rangers said ahead of the Dundee clash?

After the Kilmarnock victory, Rangers boss Derek McInnes said: “When we connected the game well, with strikers, midfielders, wide players working off shape at the right times, we did look a good team. We look a team that deserves to be top of the league. But it’s my job to assess the whole 90 minutes, so we know there was some good and some not so good in the game. Job done, we’ll get some rest into one or two of them, with an extra day off for them this week. And then when they come back in on Tuesday, we’re all at it again; we work towards Dundee.”
