How to watch Jagiellonia Bialystok vs Rangers: Kick-off time, live stream and team news for European clash

Everything you need to know about how to watch Thursday night’s European clash in Poland

Rangers will face Poland’s Jagiellonia Bialystok away from home in their UEFA Europa League third round qualifier first leg.

It will be the first taste of European football for Derek McInnes as Rangers boss after managing his first domestic match last week against Dundee United. Following an underwhelming 1-1 draw at Tannadice, the Light Blues are looking to instantly bounce back. Their opponents present the standard European banana-skin after coming third in the Polish Ekstraklasa last season.

Rangers will welcome Jagellonia back to Ibrox on August 13 for the return leg. Should they prevail on aggregate, they’ll face either Larne of Northern Ireland or Iberia 1999 of Georgia in the play-off round. If they lose, they’ll drop down to the Conference League at the same stage, where they’d face either Jablonec of Czech Republic or RFS of Latvia.

What is the Rangers team news ahead of the match?

Atalanta loanee Ben Godfrey has been ruled out for a month after picking up a hamstring injury against Dundee United, leaving McInnes light on defensive options. To add to this, midfielder Connor Barron is still nursing his pre-season knock. In better news for the Rangers boss, new Japanese winger Daisuke Yokota has travelled with the squad, just hours after completing his £2.7m move from Hannover 96. Due to Godfrey’s absence, central defensive addition Olwethu Nakhanya could also be set for his debut.
