Hide AdMalik Tillman spent the 22/23 season on loan at Rangers from Bayern Munich, impressing as a permanent Ibrox stay looked likely. Bayern bought themselves out of that permanent agreement and sent the playmaker to Holland instead, where he is also thriving.
The Eredivisie club splashed a club-record £13 million fee to sign him on a permanent basis from Bayern over the summer and Earnest Stewart, PSV’s technical director, says his rise has been remarkable at a club now playing in the league phase of the Champions League
As quoted by Rangers News, Stewart said: “When you see Malik, the development he has undergone as a player, but also as a person. Of course, I knew Malik a little earlier from the American national team. He is a very quiet boy.

“I think he is an incredible talent. What he can do, what he sees, also scoring ability and creativity. And what is not often noticeable, but the number of balls he recaptures on the field is truly unprecedented as an attacking player. Malik is really a great talent. We are very happy that he will stay at PSV even longer.”
Now former PSV star Kenneth Perez has piled on with the praise. He sees something the former Rangers ace does that is better than anybody in the Dutch top flight. Perez said: “He is someone who just does the right things with the ball.

In terms of thinking, I think he is one of the fastest and, in terms of technique, one of the very best. Tillman almost always has a solution, and he is not slow either. He has acceleration with the ball.”
