'Absolute belter' - Rangers release limited edition Heritage Kit to commemorate 125 years of Ibrox Stadium
Rangers have released a new limited edition ‘Heritage Kit’ to commemorate 125 years of Ibrox Stadium - with a trio of club legends taking part in the launch of the anniversary strip.
A leaked image of the top’s design appeared on social media on Wednesday evening and it is now available to purchase online and in store, priced at £75. It features the earliest Rangers club crest and a classic plain blue design with white flashes on the collar and sleeve ends.

Legendary former Gers captain Barry Ferguson, Mark Hateley and Lee McCulloch also played their part in the launch and the Light Blues have teased that the strip - which is also emblazoned with the Unibet sponsor - will be worn on the pitch at some point next month .
Describing the kit and it’s release, a Rangers message read: “This special collection honours the legacy of our home by blending a timeless design with modern performance. Embroidered with our earliest scroll monogram crest, the design is instantly recognisable and a nod to the club’s heritage and passion.
“A subtle tribute of the 1899 - 2024 anniversary adheres below the crest, complemented with the addition of Archibald Leitch’s famous criss-cross balustrade on the socks. A design which sits across the mid-tier of the Bill Struth Stand. Be part of this historic milestone with this very limited-edition kit which will be worn on the pitch in December.”

One fan wrote: “Why’s that not the actual home top,” while a second commented: “That is stunning.” A third wrote: “Top is an absolute belter. Simple and class, unlike the current home top.”
However, the whopping £75 price point led with one supporter to admit: “Absolutely rinsing fans again,” while another said: “£75 for a shirt is an absolute scandal” and a third made a point of stating: “Heritage kits should not have sponsorship logos anywhere near them. Won’t be buying.”
