Rangers to bow out of the Europa League

After a tough run in the Europa League, Rangers’ journey is coming to an end for this season. Rohl’s side are currently sat in 31st in the league table with just four points on the board.

Only the top 24 teams have the chance of reaching the knockout stages. After the top eight go through automatically, places nine through to 24 will compete in the play-offs for the final eight places.

There is currently four points between Rangers and 24th, so they are unable to reach the play-off bracket. Regardless, a win will keep the team ticking ahead of their Scottish Premiership clash with Hibs at the weekend.
