Rob Roy continued their perfect start to the season as they made sure there was no hangover from their Sectional League Cup triumph with an impressive win over Hurlford.

They will be strong favourites to rack up another win against East Kilbride - but Maxwell is taking nothing for granted.

He said: “They are unbeaten in their league so far and you have to respect that.

“Clubs see Rob Roy as a big scalp these days and these days and they will come and try and make things difficult for us.

“They will work hard to frustrate us, but its up to us to make sure we are mentally and physically prepared and if we match their hard work, hopefully our quality will come through .

“There a real feelgood factor about the club after our cup win.

“Everybody at the club is working hard to engage with the local community and I think we are grabbing the community back because people can see what we are trying to achieve.”
