Former Biggar coach Ants Posa to take role at Doncaster Rugby Club

Departing Biggar Rugby Club head coach Ants Posa has signed a three-year contract to be director of amateur rugby at Doncaster Rugby Club.

The Kiwi – axed as Biggar head coach at the end of last season after three years at Hartreemill – will be officially confirmed in his new role at Doncaster RFC’s AGM later this week.

Ants said: “I’ll be in charge of Doncaster’s feeder club. I’ll also be assisting all the junior coaches, in a similar role to what I’m doing at Biggar.

“From a professional point of view, this is a great move for me. But from a family point of view it is a lot of hassle because my Scottish wife Christine and our three kids Callum, Nina and Luka are really happy in Biggar.”
