FORTH Wanderers this week parted company with manager Jamie McKenzie – with work commitments blamed for the axing.

McKenzie (32), recently took over as a supermarket manager in East Kilbride, which meant he had been unable to attend two recent Forth matches plus training sessions.

The outgoing boss, who is being replaced as gaffer by new Forth player/manager Chris McGroarty, said: “Leaving Forth has been on my mind for a wee while.
