Forth Wanderers unveil new manager Jamie McKenzie

New Forth Wanderers manager Jamie McKenzie hasn’t ruled out playing for the Kingshill Park team next season.

But ex-Partick and Raith Rovers player McKenzie (30), revealed that it would cost £1000 to buy his playing registration from Vale of Clyde, where he was player/coach until last season.

Jamie also revealed that only two players have been re-signed for 2011-2012 so far, but he will meet last season’s squad this week to discuss who will be staying or going.

“I’m working on bringing in new players every day,” he said.

“I’ve spoken to 100 players already. Some will take part in our pre-season preparations and others will be signing targets. But finances will dictate who comes in.”
