Forth Wanderers win Clydesdale Cup Final

A SCREAMING 25-yard free-kick goal from Craig Crawford was the highlight of Forth Wanderers’ fine 3-1 victory over Lesmahagow in Monday night’s Clydesdale Cup Final at Kingshill Park.

Crawford’s strike helped Wanderers win the pre-season tournament for the first time since 1995 and represented a dream start to new manager Jamie McKenzie’s reign.

“I’m delighted to get off to a good start here,” said Jamie.

“It is a big thing for the club to win this against local sides.”
