Forth’s Carolanne Crawford picked to train Scottish mounted games team

LANARK and Upperward Pony Club junior coach Carolanne Crawford will get to meet the Queen and Prince Philip at the five-day Royal Windsor Horse Show in May 2012, after being picked to train the Scottish mounted games team for the next two years.

Carolanne (46), of Crooklands Farm, Haywood, Forth, has received the accolade after the stunning title-winning exploits of her young Lanark and Upperward junior ‘A’ squad this season.

She said: “The selectors assess all the coaches in Scotland and pick one every two years.”
