Kirkintilloch golfers return from lockdown with holes in one

It was a particularly enjoyable return for Kirkintilloch Golf Club captain Jim MacNab who scored a hole in one at the 15th.

And he wasn’t the only one - it was a similar story at nearby Hayston Golf Club where member Kevin Caldwell holed his tee shot at the fourth.

But such successes were only the icing on the cake - the main fare was simply provided by being able to get back out on the course again and, subject to safety guidelines, enjoy the golf and the glorious weather.
