Just over 100 entered the popular event and, at the end of play, the lead was shared by no fewer than four players – James Mooney, Michael Waters Jnr, Alan Bankier and David Coyle who all turned in very impressive scores of net 66.

After a countback, a delighted James Mooney claimed this season’s trophy and received his prize at an evening presentation from Civic Week Queen Natasha Hardie, accompanied by her two ladies in waiting, Laura Black and Lauren McArthur.

A large number of friends and family were also present for the fun night.
