Lennox Trophy pulls in a healthy field

AFTER two weeks of continuing bad weather and cancellations, it was back to business at Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club on Saturday.

The Lennox Trophy attracted a healthy field of over 120. This competition is played over 36 holes and there was an early front runner with Cameron Wilson carding a 61. The best scratch score came from Thomas Fitzimmons with 74.

Divisional scores for round one: First class – Robert Fleming, 76 (8) 68; Harry Brown, 78 (8) 70. Second class – Michael Waters, 80 (13) 67; Alan Berrie, 79 (12) 67; David Barrie, 86 (17) 69. Third class – Cameron Wilson, 87 (26) 61; Patrick Livingston, 90 (26) 61; James O’Neil, 98 (28) 70.
