Over 90 tee off in round 18

Round 18 of Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club’s Winter League and Valentine’s weekend was blessed with mainly sunny weather.

Over 90 players took part over the two days.

Scoring well and consolidating his lead in League Four was George Boyd with 39, closely followed by Andrew Heeps on 38, taking him into top slot in Group 3.

The Winter League final will be played on March 15 which leaves two weekends of scoring as there is a free weekend the week before the final.

Overall league standings: League One, Eric O’Neil 233, George McCallum 228; League Two, Paul Tyrrell and John Donaldson on 231; League Three, Andrew Heeps 228, Robert Stewart 226; League Four, George Boyd 232, Robert Blackwood 229.
