Rain fails to dampen spirits at Kilsyth Lennox

ON Saturday, May 19, the Yellow Ball competition was played at Kilsyth Lennox golf course under persistent rain.

However, it did not dampen the spirit of the winning team of Derek Mitchell Gary McGill John Mitchell and Andrew Alexander – it was worth the soaking lads!

The third round of the May Eclectic was won by Tony Armour shooting a net 65. Second place was shared by Scott McRobbie and Gerry Turley on 66.

There is round to go with several players in contention making for an exciting finish.

The best scratch scores came from Hugh Nelson and David McKie both scoring 74.

On Sunday, May 20, the A team made it two wins a row with a good home win over Dunblane.

With their away victory over Grangemouth they have claimed an early lead in their division.
