Golfers face price hikes
GOLFERS could face massive price hikes of up to 22.5 per cent over the next three years to play Clydesdale’s two public courses.
South Lanarkshire Council has plans to increase the cost of playing rounds over the municipal layouts at Biggar and Hollandbush by the mindboggling amount by 2018.
A Biggar Golf Club source, who has been a member for 22 years, said it would be “scandalous” if the price rises were brought in.
